Our History & Ethos

Auden Place is now the only truly parent-run nursery in Camden. While other nurseries have taken on professional management teams, our manager reports to a management committee of volunteer parents, with children of all ages, and from all stages of the nursery’s intake, who act as Company Directors and Charity Trustees. The committee ensures the quality and effectiveness of the early years provision, with monthly meetings allowing members to monitor and discuss current issues and plan next steps.

Over the years the management committee has grown considerably thanks to the dedication of the volunteers. Find out more about the current members here, and please let us know if you’d like to find out more about joining!
